AMVCA 9: BIMBO ADEMOYE WINS BEST ACTRESS IN A COMEDY, SEE FULL LIST OF WINNERS

The 9th edition of Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023, as expected lived up to it’s usual scientilating heights with the creme de la creme of the Nollywood industry thronging out to be validated for their works in the last one year.

Of course, everybody can’t win, while some carted home the prized award categories, others were in hand to cheer their colleagues up

The event which took place on May 20, 2023, was a show of coming together of the continent’s most creative filmmakers under one roof to celebrate their industrious contributions towards the growth and development of the cinema industry.

As the events turns out, Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo took the lead, while Patience Ozokwo went home with the Industry Meritorious Award.
