Bishop Blessing Samuel however expressed his deepest appreciation to all churches in the world for their tolerance, understanding and continuous prayers during the lock down of churches imposed by their various Government over COVID-19 in the past few months. Also writing on behalf on his ministry, Royal Place Ministries Church all over the world to appreciate the grace of God upon their lives commending their steadfastness on God’s calling particularly at a time like this when the entire world is being ravaged by the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic.
He said in his words without mincing words that the Covid-19 scourge has adversely affected the church of God all over the world with the lock down of churches by authorities in their wisdom to control the spread of the deadly virus. The church has never experienced this kind of global lock down of churches in recent history. He recommended everyone for their tenacity in holding unto their commissions in the face of the Covid-19 global threats to the church of God.
Although churches in most countries across the world remain lockdown by authorities till now, except for some countries which have recently relieved their worship centre. We are not unmindful of the fact that the gates of hell shall never prevail against the continued relevance and existence of the church of God, no matter what the world throws at the church, including the Covid-19.
Bishop Samuel went further to expressed that with the partial relaxation of the lock down, the government was putting a great responsibility upon the Church. He urged all the churches to recognize that the coronavirus pandemic is still lingering in the world, and implored all church leaders and congregations to ensure that they intensify prayer and intercession in ensuring that God totally destroys the pandemic and flush it rapidly from the nation at large.
He however enjoined all churches to cooperate fully with the government by complying with the agreed protocols in their own interest and task those in charge of all Christian worship centers to be fully prepared and ensure strick compliance with the regulations as the churches re opening.
Stating that there must be proper monitoring and supervision by each denomination to ensure and ascertain full compliance of the agreed protocols. This is to avoid any embarrassment of sanctions by the government authorities. “We the named church “Royal Place Ministries Int’l” continues to be the Light in this State, living and doing the Word of God as instructed in the Holy Scriptures so that we may continue to lead a quiet and peaceable life, in all godliness and honesty”, Samuel assured.
