…urging students to joined protest

The National Association of Ogun State Students NAOSS has warned both the Academic Staff Union of University ASUSS and Federal Government of Nigeria to end the eight months strike or they embarked on statewide protest from Monday November 23, 2020.
Com. Ogunrombi Oluwagbemileke Emmanuel, NAOSS NATIONAL President stated this in a press releases signed on Sunday 22nd November, 2020 in Abeokuta.
Ogunrombi explained that, it’s disheartening that the Federal government of Nigeria and the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities has failed to come to logical conclusions since the strike was called by ASUU over 8months ago, thereby keeping students out of classrooms and wasting away future of Nigerian Students and keeping them in limbo
He said in this situation we the Nigeria youths have decided to speak lauder SORO SOKE on the street and hence we will be embarking on a statewide protest starting from tomorrow till Nigerian Universities are opened
Comrade Ogunrombi further stated that the press releases is being issued and signed nation wide.
While urge all Members across the country to kindly join in as we have decided to take our future in our hand.
We urge all Members to Join the Leadership of the Association at NNPC junction starting from 9am tomorrow.
