The former chairman of Labour Party in Lagos State, now a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State, Rotarian Olukayode Ezekiel Salako, greets all Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria on the occasion of the on-going Sallah celebration around the world.
He appreciates the grace, favour and guardian of Allah upon their lives and urges them to use the occasion of the period to pray for the unity, peace and progress of Nigeria.
He also extends special greetings to all the members of PANFO, the political group of all the Labour Party defectees he leads inside the APC, especially all the Muslim ones among them, and pray for the continual blessings and beautiful manifest grace of Allah over their lives.
According to him, the occasion of celebrating Sallah by the Muslims around the world, is a very important annual ritual of agelong spiritual opportunity, as commanded by God, for all the faithfuls in the religion to make the sacrifice of rams and use the essence of the occasion to commune together in one voice in prayer and in celebration of Allah in the most special way as one global religious family.
He, therefore, wishes all his political associates, fans, supporters and friends, who are Muslims, happy celebration and prays the spiritual essence of the celebration of the Sallah period, bring us all good and lofty tidings we continue to live, under His abiding grace.
“I also join them to pray for peace, progress and love in Nigeria, under the able leadership of President Bola Tinubu. I pray for the grace of restored and good health for him.
I pray to God to grant him uncommon wisdom, ability and experience to continue to steer the ship of the Nigerian state to expected economic recovery, satisfactory development and greatness in the days ahead as the president of Nigeria”.
