Ahead of the 2024 Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter Election, the leading contestant in the election, Eno Udo, has appointed political strategist and publisher of Bold Walk Magazine, Paul Julius Obomokhai as the Director-General of her campaign Council.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos, Eno Udo, charged the newly appointed Campaign DG, Paul Julius with the responsibility of running her campaign while she focuses on her grassroots mobilization and consultations.
“I am pleased to officially notify you of the appointment of publisher and political strategist, Amb Paul Julius Obomokhai popularly called (PJ) as the Director-General of the Eno Udo Campaign Organisation. He is a very positive and welcome addition to our campaign team and I look forward to working with him as he leads our campaign to victory at the polls. He will be bringing on board his vast experience and knowledge of our Guild both at the State and National level along with his wide network and goodwill in AGN Lagos in particular”. She posited.
Paul Julius is an alumnus of the University of Calabar and Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN), the umbrella body of Media professionals in the Nigerian Media and Television Industry.
He also served as campaign DG cum spokesman to Emeka Rising Ibeh, Chairman, AGN Lagos and National Vice President, Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN).
Other appointments Eno Udo announced at the press conference are, Amina Ndim, as Deputy Campaign DG, Elijah Ezekiel Esq, as Head of Communications and Legal Services, Obong Kendy Aduak as Head, Business development and Anabel David as head of Digital Media.
Eno Udo also named the Executives who would be working with her to achieve her vision for a greater AGN Lagos.
They are;
Kunle Akintunde (Vice Chairman)
Joseph Abayomi Oni (Secretary)
Imade Osawaru, (Assistant Secretary)
Steve Mario Anozie, Director of Guild Services (DGS)
Jonathan Emenike – Saint Joe (Treasurer)
Miracle Bob (Chief Whip).
She charged the team to work together to deliver a sweet victory at the polls.
According to her, “In this election, we chose hope over fear. We see the future of our Guild not as something out of control but as something we can shape for the better through concerted and collective efforts. Even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us—the spin masters—the negative news peddlers—who embrace the politics of anything goes. Well, I say to them, AGN Lagos members are watching with keen interest.
Speaking further, Eno said, “Over the last three years and more, I have worked closely and assiduously with the Emeka Rising led administration behind the scene, supporting virtually all our programmes, learning and studying the process. I can confidently tell you here that I’m the most prepared candidate going to the election, with the original pass-code to unlock the next phase of our progress. So, If you will join me in this quest, if you feel destiny calling, and see as I see, a future of endless possibility stretching before us; if you sense, as I sense, that the time is now to focus on the task ahead, then I’m ready to take up the gauntlet and march with you, and work with you and serve you with all my heart and with all my strength…
