The Senior Pastor of INRI Evangelical Mission, Primate Elijah Ayodele, today hosted a press conference to formally present his highly anticipated annual prophetic declarations tagged “Warning to the Nation.” The event, held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, brought together members of the media, clergy, and the general public to receive what the cleric described as divine warnings and insights concerning Nigeria’s political, social, and leadership future.
Addressing journalists, Primate Ayodele made several far-reaching declarations touching on national unity, governance, and the country’s political trajectory ahead of 2027.
On the matter of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Primate Ayodele declared that despite his sentencing to life imprisonment, he foresees a presidential pardon and eventual release from custody.
Speaking on Nigeria’s electoral future, the Primate stated that there will be no conventional election in 2027, adding that the outcome of who will lead the country is likely to become obvious before 2027. He further asserted that Nigerians would no longer vote strictly along party lines but would be guided by character, integrity, and merit in determining who leads the nation.
Commenting on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Primate Ayodele urged the President to seek the face of God for spiritual cleansing, noting that despite his efforts, he is not being appreciated, particularly in the northern part of the country. According to him, no current political figure can take over leadership and perform better than President Tinubu, whom he described as having good intentions for Nigeria.
However, the cleric cautioned that individuals around the President are sabotaging his developmental agenda, adding that no amount of projects or goodwill gestures in the North would earn him appreciation, as, according to the prophecy, there are deliberate attempts to blackmail him out of office.
Primate Ayodele also foretold a future fallout between President Tinubu and businessman Aliko Dangote, advising caution and wisdom in managing relationships at the highest levels.
Turning to opposition politics, he encouraged Mr. Peter Obi to negotiate for a Vice-Presidential slot under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stating that Obi would eventually have a political confrontation with Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
In the area of traditional institutions, Primate Ayodele issued a warning, stating that the Olubadan of Ibadan and the Alaafin of Oyo would be involved in a serious and dirty conflict, calling for restraint and divine intervention to preserve peace and dignity within the revered Yoruba traditional stools.
Concluding the conference, Primate Ayodele emphasized that the “Warning to the Nation” declarations are meant to serve as spiritual alerts, guidance, and opportunities for repentance, prayer, and corrective action, urging leaders and citizens alike to act wisely in the interest of national peace and progress.
