In a landmark political development ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State have unanimously endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as the party’s consensus governorship candidate.
The historic endorsement was made during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting comprising party leaders, elders, political office holders, and grassroots mobilizers from across the state.
