…Otunba Kehinde Oloyede-Almaroof Approves Appointment as Party Strengthens Campaign Coordination
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State has appointed APC chieftain, Olukayode Ezekiel Salako, as Chairman of its Election Campaign and Flag-Off Committee, in a strategic move to strengthen campaign coordination, grassroots mobilisation, and party engagement ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The appointment, approved by the Office of the Executive Chairman of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede-Almaroof, was formally announced by the APC Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, on Friday, October 9, 2026, during a high-level meeting of party stakeholders.
Other members of the committee announced at the meeting include Hon. Rafiu Adenopo, who will serve as Public Relations Officer (PRO), and Hon. Prince Adekunle Adewale Kehinde, popularly known as Agboni, who has been appointed Secretary.
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of coordinating campaign programmes, mobilising party leaders and stakeholders, strengthening grassroots participation, and overseeing the arrangements for the campaign flag-off in line with the party’s strategic objectives and organisational requirements.
SALAKO’S LEADERSHIP AND THE TASK AHEAD
Salako’s appointment underscores the importance of effective leadership, political coordination, and grassroots engagement in advancing the APC’s electoral objectives in Oshodi/Isolo.

MAYOWA ALAKIJA’S HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CAMPAIGN DECLARATION AND FLAG-OFF
The committee’s principal assignment is to organise a mega declaration and campaign flag-off event for the House of Assembly election campaign project of Mayowa Alakija in the constituency.
The proposed event is expected to serve as a major political gathering, bringing together APC leaders, elected representatives, party faithful, grassroots mobilisers, community stakeholders, and supporters to formally advance the campaign project.
Under Salako’s leadership, the committee will coordinate the planning and execution of the event, including stakeholder mobilisation, publicity, logistics, programme coordination, and other essential arrangements required to ensure a successful outing.
The declaration and flag-off are expected to provide an opportunity for the campaign to communicate its vision, engage with constituents, and mobilise support ahead of the forthcoming electoral contest.
