…“The Secret to Good Success is the Word of God”
The Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, has declared that the Word of God is the foundation for a faithful and successful Christian life, stressing that the secret to good success is rooted in consistent study and application of Scripture.
He stated this while teaching at Membership Class 104 of the Grace Nation Global School of Faith on the subject: “The Word of God.”
The Word of God: Foundation for Success
Teaching with clarity and authority, The Generational Prophet Dr Chris Okafor explained that every believer who desires to walk in faith and win in life must build on the Word.
“The secret to have good success is the Word of God. Success in the kingdom is not by chance. It is by the Word. The Word of God is the foundation for a faithful and successful Christian life,” he said.
The clergyman emphasized that knowing God personally comes through the Scriptures.
“To know more about God, you must study the Word and meditate on it at all times. Prayer is speaking to God, but the Word is God speaking to you. When you study and meditate, your spirit becomes sensitive to divine direction.”
He charged members not to treat the Bible as a religious book, but as a manual for living. According to him, a Christian life without the Word is like a building without a foundation — it cannot stand the storms of life.
What is the Bible?
Addressing the question, _“What is a Bible?”_ The Generational of God Dr Chris Okafor gave a detailed explanation.
“The Bible is the book containing the Word of God. It has 66 books in total. The Bible has two major segments: the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Bible was written through various encounters with the Holy Spirit by different people, from different backgrounds and professions, across different generations and nations of the world. Yet, there is one author — the Holy Spirit.”
The Generational Prophet noted that despite having over 40 human writers including kings, prophets, fishermen, and doctors, the Bible carries one central message: the plan of God for the redemption of man through Jesus Christ.
Old Testament and New Testament:
One Story, One God
Comparing both segments, the Generational Prophet explained that the Old Testament lays the foundation while the New Testament reveals the fulfillment in Christ.
“The Old Testament is the promise and preparation. It shows us God’s dealings with man, His laws, His covenants, and His prophecies concerning the Messiah.
The New Testament is the fulfillment. It reveals Jesus Christ — who He is, what He came to do, and how believers can live through Him,” he taught.
He added that both Testaments are important for doctrine, correction, and growth. “You cannot do away with the Old because it explains the roots. You cannot ignore the New because it explains the reality in Christ. Together, they give us the complete picture of God.”
The Bible Makes Us Grow in Righteousness
Dr Chris Okafor further taught that one of the major benefits of the Word is spiritual growth and righteous living.
“The Bible makes us grow in righteousness. As you study the Word, it washes you, corrects you, and transforms your thinking. The Word renews your mind and aligns you with God’s standard,” he said.
The Popular Lagos Prophet described the Bible as a mirror, a sword, and food for the spirit.
“When you look into the Word, you see yourself. When you speak the Word, you defeat the enemy. When you feed on the Word, you grow strong in faith.”
Practical Application for Believers
The Generational Prophet urged members of Grace Nation to develop a culture of daily Bible study, meditation, and confession.
“Don’t just read the Bible, study it. Don’t just hear the Word, meditate on it. Don’t just know the Word, live it. That is how you activate good success,” he admonished.
He concluded by praying for members that the Word of God in their mouths will become a weapon of victory, and that as they build their lives on Scripture, they will experience faithfulness, fruitfulness, and undeniable success.
The class ended with worship, prayer, and prophetic declarations as members were encouraged to carry their Bibles everywhere and to make the Word their final authority.
