A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency II , and the Chairman, Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Hon. Tunde Braimoh, is dead.
In a Facebook post on Friday morning, lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Sanni Babatunde Okanlawon, confirmed Braimoh’s death.
“ONE DEATH TOO MANY, TUNDE BURAIMOH, Sun re o,” he wrote.
The Lagos Assembly’s image-maker was also a former chairman of Kosofe Local Government and the Bamofin of Ketuland.
He was first elected into the Assembly in 2015 and was reelected in 2019.
A close member of the family revealed that the lawmaker died in the early hours of Friday.
His death is coming exactly two weeks after his counterpart in the upper legislative chamber, Sikiru Osinowo died.
He is survived by wife and children.
