The above quote aptly depicted the actions of delectable socialite and one of the most sought-after indigenous female engineers, Amb Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo, aka Funmi Ayinke, in a viral video on the social media where her driver brazenly beat the traffic light.
Miffed by the unwarranted action of Mr. Ibrahim her driver, the outstanding philanthropist of note ordered uncouth Ibrahim to U-turn the car, and the waited for the traffic light to pass them before driving forward.
The police traffic wardens at the incident site were taken aback by her action in a country where citizens blames government and other, but themselves other every anomaly, the self-disciplined change agent seized the opportunity to encourage fellow Nigerians on the need to lead by example.
Funmi Ayinke was heard in the video educating Nigerians on why discipline and need to do the right things always must start with our individual selves before blaming others and the government.
You see, this thing called change has to start with us. In the UK or USA you cannot afford not to obey the traffic lights. If you can obey the traffic lights abroad, why not do same here. Anybody that disobeys the traffic light needs psychological test she said.
She eventually made her driver to apologize to Nigerians and made pledge never to disobey the traffic rules again.
